DJ Affect

DJ Affect (Ari Kalimi) was born March 17, 1983, in Miami, and he has been behind the decks in this city for more than 30 years. He taught himself in his bedroom, then got his first real shot at 15 when a DJ no showed at Club Cream on South Beach and the owner let him take the booth. He has not really left since.

Today he holds one of the longest running residencies at E11EVEN Miami. His sets come from hip-hop first, then move through house, Latin, R&B, throwbacks, and whatever the room is asking for. Open format, built on reading people instead of running a playlist.

Along the way he has shared rooms with Diddy, Jamie Foxx, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Usher, and a long list of others you can see in the photos above.

On the production side, Affect co-wrote and co-produced "Pause" on Pitbull's platinum album Planet Pit. In 2026 he started putting out his own records, with "Supernatural" and "We Found Love Thru The Pain," both out now on every platform.

He plays clubs, corporate events, festivals, and brand activations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and anywhere else the date makes sense.
