Orlando's DJ Summit 2026 Recap

Year three is in the books. Orlando's DJ Summit went down Saturday, September 26, at the Pargh Event Center, and more than 500 people came through. That is close to double last year.

For an event built by DJs for DJs, that number says a lot. People are not just showing up for a party. They are showing up for the culture.

The lineup

Kid Capri headlined and took home the Party Rocker of the Century Award, with an after party to close the night out. If anybody has earned that title, it is him.

Scram Jones ran the showcase as celebrity judge, which is always one of the best parts of the night. Up and comers playing in front of a room full of people who notice every transition. DJ Nasty was on the bill, and DJ Affect brought the same open format energy he plays every week at E11EVEN Miami.

A new name for Year 4

Starting next year, Orlando's DJ Summit becomes Respect The DJ's Summit, presented by Respect The DJ and founder Felix "DJ Junebuhg" Cruz.

Year 4 in 2027 grows into a two day show, with workshops and panels on financial literacy, mental health, physical health, technology, and brand marketing. The goal is to double in size again.

That focus is what makes it different. Most music conferences stop at what happens behind the decks. This one is about the whole life of a DJ, the money, the health, the business, all of it.
