Some songs you chase. This one I had to live first.

We Found Love Thru The Pain is the kind of record that only shows up after a stretch where nothing felt easy. I wasn't trying to write a love song. I was trying to make sense of what was left after a hard year, and somewhere in there, the love part found me. Not the clean version. The real one. The kind you only recognize because you already saw the other side of it.

That's where the title comes from. Not a metaphor I reached for. Just the truth of how it happened.

It drops July 13, and I'm playing it out live at E11EVEN that same night. There's something about hearing a record for the first time in a room full of people moving to it. The studio is quiet and personal. E11EVEN is loud and alive. Same song, two completely different feelings, and I want both.
